Optimalization of innovation supporting activities will be “Benchmarking of the technology parks in the South Baltic Region” Project’s outcome. As a result of conducted researches European best practices within technology parks activity will be identified. Moreover, the possibility of European best practices implementation in five parks located in the South Baltic Region will be presented.
The main products of Consortium works within the Project will be general report and final substantial report. The general report will include analyses from the benchmarking research, European best practices presented as “Case Studies” examples, examination of R&D entities needs and conclusions drawn from the study tours. Recommendations for technology parks (DISKE Project Partners) will constitute the final part of the document. The final substantial report will include a research description from the methodological point of view.
During Project’s life period special meetings of the experts team and Contracting Party’s representatives (including five Parks associated in DISKE) will be held. The most important one will be a seminar at the end of the Project. During the seminar research outcomes will be presented. In addition, discussion panels with parks included in the Project will be organized. Contractor’s experts will run a training programme for experience and knowledge exchange between seminar’s participants and experts.
The important part of work, included in the Project, are promotional elements aimed to fulfill two primary objectives:

bulding up awareness of implemented activities aimed at technology parks functioning’s quality strengthening among regions’ citizens, business entities and other institutions,

increase of action activity and number of stakeholders involved in the process of strengthening of mutual relations within triple helix.
