The City creates favourable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship, innovation and technologies through establishing Elbląg Technology Park and encouraging investors to locate their capital in the Special Economic Zone.
Elblag Technological Park (ETP)
The main objective of the undertaking is to improve conditions for the development of entrepreneurship and innovative undertakings. The idea of the undertaking is to create a platform of cooperation among authorities of Elblag, science and business to foster further everyday cooperation between them. The project stipulates building infrastructure which will enable the cooperation among enterprises working within the framework of the Elblag Technological Park, and science labs (applied information technology, wood technology, environmental protection) which will be situated in the Logistic Centre. The Elblag Technological Park covers 67 hectares of new investment land in the new district of Elblag - Modrzewina South.
The project is co-financed from the resources of the European Union within the framework of the Operational Programme Development of Eastern Poland 2007-2013. The project will be realised in years 2008-2010.
